SSC CHSL Exam 2019

SSC (Staff Selection Commission) is the organization in India which recruits staff for different posts in different Ministries as well as Department of Government of India with their Subordinate Offices. The SSC conducts examinations and interviews for the recruitments for Group “C” as well as Group “D” posts for different Ministries & Department for Government of India. It serves central government only and doesn’t make any State recruitments.

This year the SSC has organized an online examination for the Tier-I. With this examination, SSC recruits candidates for DEO &LDC in different Government Ministries and Subordinate Offices. The SSC CHSL 2018 Tier-I exam was organized between 4th March 2018 to 26th March 2018. All the eligible candidates will give Tier 2 examination on 8th July 2018.

Selection Procedure

The selection procedure of SSC DEO &LDC examination is very easy. The initial step is All India Written Examination and after that a Descriptive Examination and a Typing Test.

Typing Test

Applicants need to concentrate on the typing speed also while preparing for the written examination as it’s not easy to have the speed of 35 wpm 0r 8,000 key depressions per hour. Applicants need to practice frequently to get the typing speed. Only qualifying the written test won't work for the Final Selection, as you also need to clear the typing test. So, you should give a minimum of 1 hour daily for typing in English or Hindi.

The examination mode is online and it’s a computer-based exam. The examination paper will have Objective kind of questions with a total of 100 marks. There is also negative marking in case of every wrong answer. These marks will be deducted from your total score. The examination paper consists of sections like Quantitative Aptitude, General Intelligence, General Awareness, and English Language.

SSC MTS Cut-Off Marks
